Value First, Inc. is a corporation registered in the State of Delaware. It is a national organization whose primary activity is to be a group purchasing organization for aging services providers such as nursing homes, senior housing, assisted living, clinical service providers, home-care providers and other such facilities and providers.
Ownership of Value First is limited to LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA) and to eligible affiliate state and regional associations.
The administrative activities of Value First are carried out by Aging Services Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Aging Services of Minnesota. The negotiation of vendor contracts is primarily administered by MedAssets, Inc.
The activities of Value First are overseen by a board of directors. Each member of the board of directors must be currently serving as a full time executive employee of a stockholder of Value First.
